Battery Type Used: L-16 / T-105

The Type 2B178CO is a probe with two LED's: a green one which acts as a monitor to show battery condition and satisfactory acid level and a red one which flashes when the acid gets too low.

This probe is used on deep cycle batteries, such as the T-105 series or L-16 and is an extension of the Type

2B Monitor and Alarm probes.

In very critical installations such as emergency lighting or sprinkler pump motor starting it is probably a wise investment because it can forecast trouble with a dimming green LED as well as warn the user to add water by virtue of the red flasher.

This probe has a shaft length of 1-7/8" but other lengths are available. A black and a red wire are for connecting to the screws on the negative and positive battery posts respectively.

Each wire has a 5/16" diameter terminal lug.
