Battery Type Used: Industrial

The Type 2A218CO probe is a battery acid level indicator that combines the features of the 2A Monitor probe with those of the 2A Alarm. It has both a green LED to constantly monitor acid level and a red flashing LED to provide an alarm should the level get lower than the minimum required for satisfactory operation.

This is the most complex of all the Hydro-Eye probes but when it comes to protecting a very expensive battery like those used in fork lifts, its features are outstanding. The Combo replaces the vented bayonet cap over the center cell on the battery just like all the 2A probes, and uses two wires for power connections.

Warranty is five years.

The probe length is 2-1/8". Custom probe lengths for all Hydro-Eye units are available at a minimum cost.
