Battery Type Used: Industrial

There are installations in which safety issues are involved, such as in emergency lighting and batteries to start pumps for sprinkler systems. In these instances, a properly functioning battery is critical and hence we have a probe with a flashing red LED to get one's attention.

It is called the Type 2A218AM probe for industrial batteries and other versions for 4D, 8D, L-16, T-105 and Group 24/27 batteries which are found elsewhere on this site.

Probe length is 2-1/8". The provided wires are 12" long on all the 2A probes and a stainless steel screw is included for each wire for attachment to the proper inter-cell strap. Drilling a 1/8" diameter hole in the strap first makes attachment quite easy.
